In a remarkable transformation, General Manager Zhang Peng of Hubei Jutai Electric Co., Ltd. has steered the company from a humble electric motor repair shop to a leading national high-tech enterprise with an annual output value of 150 million yuan. To assist individuals with drug involvement in returning to society and embarking on the right path, in September 2023, the Community Drug Rehabilitation Center in Douhut Town, Public Security County, joined forces with Hubei Jutai Electric Co., Ltd. to establish the "Love Home" Employment Base, a pioneering initiative in Hubei Province. The establishment of the "Love Home" Employment Base has been widely covered by major media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency, China.com, Global Post Chinese Edition, People's Daily Online, Hubei TV Station, and Hubei Daily. To date, more than ten individuals from drug rehabilitation have successfully found stable employment at Jutai Electric's "Love Home" Employment Base.
Beyond providing a venue for activities, Jutai Electric also collaborates in implementing daily tasks such as skill training and assistance in resettlement within the "Love Home" framework, extending aid to drug rehabilitation individuals in the county who meet the criteria for social assistance.
The "Love Home" Employment Base has now established a "five-in-one" support and treatment system, focusing on various aspects including publicity and education, employment guidance, psychological correction, drug treatment, and dynamic control. This system regularly offers assistance and care to drug rehabilitation individuals to facilitate their smoother reintegration into society.
This initiative not only provides employment but also plays a crucial role in social responsibility, demonstrating that with the right support and opportunities, individuals from drug rehabilitation can regain their footing and contribute positively to society.
