The KYN28 Series Metal-Clad Draw-Out Switchgear is a robust solution designed for indoor use in three-phase AC systems operating at 50Hz with a rated voltage of 3.6 to 12kV. Engineered to meet the demands of modern power distribution, this switchgear is suitable for a variety of applications, including power generation, transmission, and distribution in industrial and mining enterprises, as well as in high-rise buildings.

Key Features:

1. Advanced Design: The KYN28 Series Drawer Type Switch Cabinet is developed based on advanced manufacturing techniques, offering a replacement for older models such as KYN1-10, JYN2-10, and GFC-10. The cabinet is made entirely of aluminum-zinc coated steel plates processed by CNC machines, ensuring high mechanical strength and an aesthetically pleasing design. The doors are coated with a spray plastic that offers strong resistance to impact and corrosion, with an overall protection rating of IP4X.

2. Versatile Switch Options: The main switch in the KYN28 Series can be equipped with vacuum circuit breakers such as the ABB VD4, C3 series fixed load switches, or the domestically developed ZN73 (VH1) vacuum circuit breaker. It is also compatible with various domestic vacuum circuit breaker series like VS1, VK, and ZN21.

3. Safety and Reliability: All bare conductor ensures air insulation distance greater than 125mm, and composite insulation is greater than 60mm. The switchgear is designed to have a long service life, high reliability, low maintenance, and compact size.

4. Comprehensive Protection: The KYN28 Series is suitable for single busbar, single busbar sectioning, and double busbar systems. It is designed to accept and distribute electrical energy, control circuits, and provide protection, monitoring, and control.

5. Environmental Adaptability: The switchgear is designed to operate in environments with temperatures ranging from -35˚C to 45˚C, with a maximum temperature difference of ≤ 25˚C, and can be used up to an altitude of 2500m. It is also resistant to seismic activity up to 8 degrees on the Richter scale and is designed to operate in conditions with relative humidity averages not exceeding 95% daily and 90% monthly.

6. Structural Integrity: The KYN28 Series features a modular assembly structure with high-precision parts made from switchgear-specific aluminum-zinc coated steel, processed by FMS high-precision equipment. The front and back doors are made of high-quality cold-rolled steel with a spray plastic coating, offering both aesthetic appeal and durability.

7. Operational Convenience: The vacuum contactor and fuse are mounted on a trolley, which is centrally extracted and features specific guide rails in the trolley room. The trolley is advanced by a screw rod transmission, allowing for easy operation and good interchangeability.

8. Safety Features: The KYN28 Series includes various safety features to prevent accidental operations, including preventing the movement of the trolley with load, preventing the closing of the grounding switch with electricity, and preventing entry into live compartments.
