(1) High insulation strength: The epoxy resin used for casting has an insulation breakdown field strength of 18~22kV/mm, and has roughly the same lightning impulse strength as the Oil-immersed Transformer of the same voltage level.

(2) Strong short-circuit resistance: Due to the material properties of the resin and the fact that the winding is cast as a whole, it becomes a rigid body after being heated and cured, so the mechanical strength is very high. The sudden short-circuit test has proved that cast dry-type transformers are rarely damaged by short circuits.

(3) Outstanding disaster prevention performance: Epoxy resin is flame-retardant and can extinguish itself, so it will not cause secondary disasters such as explosions. (4) Excellent environmental performance: Epoxy resin is a chemically extremely stable material that is moisture-proof and dust-proof. It can be put into operation again without drying and preheating after shutdown.
