Structural composition

1. Iron core:

• The iron core is the magnetic circuit part, usually made of stacked silicon steel sheets, and is divided into two structures: core type and shell type.
• The core core has a simple structure, easy winding arrangement and insulation, and is suitable for most dry-type transformers.

2. Winding:

• The winding is the circuit part, usually made of insulating enameled or paper-wrapped aluminum wire or copper wire.
• According to the different arrangements of high and low voltage windings, the windings can be divided into concentric and overlapping types.

3. Insulating materials:

• Mainly use solid insulating materials such as epoxy resin, insulating cardboard, cable paper, etc.
• These materials have good insulation properties and mechanical strength, and can effectively protect the windings and cores.

4. Cooling system:

• The cooling method mainly relies on natural air convection or forced air cooling.
• Some large dry-type transformers are equipped with cooling fans to improve cooling efficiency.

5. Tap changer:

• It is used to adjust the output voltage of the transformer and is usually set on the high-voltage winding.
• The tap changer can achieve no-excitation voltage regulation or load voltage regulation to meet different voltage regulation requirements.
