Overview of Epoxy Numerical Casting Dry Type Power Transformer

10kV three-phase cast resin insulated Dry-type power transformer is SC(B)10, SC(B)11, SC(B)13 series Dry-Type Transformer independently developed with the introduction of foreign advanced technology. The coil is encapsulated with epoxy resin, so it is flame retardant, fireproof, explosion-proof, maintenance-free, pollution-free, small in size, and can be directly installed at the load center.

Epoxy resin dry-type transformers have the following advantages

(1) High insulation strength: Cast epoxy resin has an insulation breakdown field strength of 18~22kV/mm, and has roughly the same lightning impulse strength as oil-immersed transformers of the same voltage level.

(2) Strong short-circuit resistance: Due to the material properties of the resin and the fact that the winding is cast as a whole and becomes a rigid body after heating and curing, the mechanical strength is very high. Sudden short-circuit tests have shown that cast dry-type transformers are rarely damaged by short circuits.

(3) Outstanding disaster prevention performance: Epoxy resin is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing, and will not cause secondary disasters such as explosions.

(4) Excellent environmental performance: Epoxy resin is a chemically extremely stable material that is moisture-proof and dust-proof. It can operate reliably even in harsh environments such as polluted air, and can even operate normally at 100% humidity. It can be put into operation again after shutdown without drying and preheating.

(5) Maintenance-free: With the perfect temperature control and temperature display system, epoxy cast dry-type transformers can now be maintenance-free, which can greatly reduce the burden on operators and reduce operating costs.

(6) Low operating loss and high operating efficiency.
