Oil-immersed Transformer: Precision in Power Distribution

Distribution transformer is one of the important equipment in the power supply and distribution system of industrial and mining enterprises and civil buildings. It reduces the 10(6)kV or 35kV network voltage to the 230/400V bus voltage used by users. Oil-immersed distribution transformers are usually used in large-capacity and high-voltage occasions. They are suitable for long-term operation and are often used in power substations, industrial parks, large substations or power centralized distribution systems. In these occasions, oil-immersed distribution transformers can not only undertake the conversion of high-voltage electricity, but also be used for long-distance power transmission to improve the efficiency of the entire power grid.

1. Heat dissipation performance: Oil-immersed distribution transformers use insulating oil as a cooling medium and have good heat dissipation performance. The insulating oil can take away the heat generated by the transformer during operation and dissipate it through the radiator, thereby keeping the temperature of the transformer within the allowable range.

2. Insulation performance: The insulating oil has a high dielectric strength and can withstand high voltage, preventing short circuits between windings and between windings and iron cores, thereby improving the insulation performance of the transformer.
