The HXGN Series Box-Type Fixed Ring Main Unit (RMU) is designed for indoor three-phase AC power distribution at 50Hz with a rated voltage of 3 to 12kV. It serves as an integral part of ring network power supply and customer substations for the acceptance, control, and distribution of electrical energy.

This Ring Main Unit Switchgear fully complies with the "five prevention" requirements of high-voltage switchgear in power systems and is widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, residential areas, high-rise buildings, and schools and parks for distribution of load current. It is capable of making and breaking rated short-circuit currents and can also be used to interrupt transformer no-load currents and certain distances of overhead or cable line currents. RMU Switchgear Cabinet with fuses can interrupt short-circuit currents for protective switching purposes and are suitable for installation in box-type substations.

Technical Features:

- Reliable Performance: All live parts within the cabinet have an air gap of ≥125 mm from the ground, and the creepage distance of insulators meets national standards. All insulation materials are epoxy or SMC, enhancing the insulation level and mechanical strength of the switchgear. The protection rating is IP3X.

- Vacuum Circuit Breaker Solutions: Equipped with solutions for vacuum circuit breakers for incoming and outgoing lines, capable of meeting the needs of large system short-circuit capacities, and comes with reliable intelligent protection devices to ensure the implementation of various protection functions.

- Safe and Convenient Use: Load switches have static contact insulating covers to prevent arc flash short-circuit accidents within the cabinet. The insulating cover has a removable metal activity door that closes when the grounding switch is engaged, ensuring the personal safety of workers during maintenance, repair, and replacement of fuses. The entire cabinet is oil-free and toxin-free, eliminating the risk of fire and explosion.

- Long Service Life: Requires minimal maintenance and is easy to inspect and repair.

- Overload Interrupting Capability: Capable of easily interrupting 2000 A transfer current with phase loss protection.

- Spring Energy Storage Operating Mechanism: Ensures the speed of switch opening and closing is not affected by human factors and can also be equipped with electromagnetic mechanisms to meet national standard requirements. The load switch's spring energy storage can be manually or electrically operated, making it easy and effort-saving to use.

- Cabinet Structure: Made of cold-rolled steel plate bending or welded steel structures, stable and reliable, with flexible and simple combination, good systematization, and versatility, meeting fast delivery requirements. It has good expandability and can be combined into any primary wiring method according to user requirements.

- Busbar Chamber: Located at the top of the RMU, the busbars can be installed vertically or horizontally. The three phases are arranged front and back (longitudinally), with a compact structure. It is small in volume, occupies less space, easy to install, and can save a significant amount of construction costs for the high-voltage room of the distribution room.
