Product classification

Common transformer oil tanks are classified into three basic types according to their capacity: box-type oil tanks, bell-type oil tanks and sealed oil tanks.

(1) Box-type oil tanks (hanging core oil tanks). Box-type oil tanks are used for medium and small transformers.

The upper cover of this type of transformer can be opened, and its total weight after filling with oil is not too heavy compared with that of large transformers; therefore, when the transformer body needs to be repaired, the entire transformer with oil can be transported to a place with lifting equipment, the cover can be opened, the body can be lifted out, and the repair can be carried out.

(2) Bell-type oil tank. Generally, large transformers use bell-type oil tanks. The body weight of this type of transformer is over 200V, and the total weight is over 300, which makes it difficult to transport. When repairing the body, there is no need to lift out the heavy body, just lift out the lighter box shell to carry out the repair work.

(3) Sealed oil tank. The sealed oil tank is a tank in which the upper and lower edges are not connected by bolts but are directly welded together after the device body is assembled and installed into the tank, forming a whole, thereby achieving the sealing of the oil tank.
