Technical features
(1) The transformer oil tank should be welded with high-strength steel plates. Anti-magnetic shielding measures should be taken inside the oil tank to reduce stray losses. The magnetic shielding should be well fixed and insulated to avoid overheating or discharge caused by poor contact.
All kinds of electrical shielding should be well conductive and reliably grounded to avoid suspended discharge or affect the dielectric loss factor of the winding.
(2) Two terminals for grounding the oil tank should be provided at the two diagonals at the bottom of the oil tank (the transformer oil tank, i.e., the shell grounding, is mainly to ensure personal safety.
When the insulation of the transformer is damaged, the transformer shell will be energized. If grounding measures are taken, the leakage current of the transformer will be conducted to the earth through the shell grounding device, thus avoiding personal electric shock accidents).
(3) The transformer oil tank should be equipped with the following valves: ① Drain valve of the transformer main oil tank and oil storage cabinet; ② Oil sampling valve (the oil sampling valve should have an internal thread of more than 8mm and be equipped with a removable plug); ③ Oil filtering, isolation, vacuuming, oil filling and emergency oil drain valves, etc.
