The GCS type low-voltage Drawer-type Switchgear represents the newest generation of switchgear, designed and developed by a collaborative team to meet the precise requirements of industry authorities, a broad range of power users, and design units. It is tailored to fit the national conditions of our country and boasts high technical performance indicators, making it adaptable to the evolving needs of the power market. Having passed a stringent joint appraisal in Shanghai in July 1996, the product has been recognized and affirmed by manufacturing units and power-using departments. The Ministry of Electric Power Industry and the Ministry of Mechanical Industry have jointly issued the "Notice on the Promotion and Application of GCS Type Low-Voltage Draw-Out Switchgear" (document numbers AnShengYong (1997) No. 01 and JiZhong (1997) No. 01). The GCS low-voltage draw-out switchgear is now widely applied across various sectors, including power generation, petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, textile, communication, and construction industries, in their distribution systems. It is particularly suited for large power plants, communication hubs, and modern enterprises with high automation levels that require computer control, serving as a distribution device for three-phase AC systems with a frequency of 50(60)Hz, a rated working voltage of 380V(660V), and a rated current of 4000A and below, for power distribution, centralized motor control, and reactive power compensation.
