Subjected to a rigorous joint appraisal in July 1996 in Shanghai, the GCS switchgear has since been recognized and valued by manufacturing entities and power-using departments. The Ministry of Electric Power and the Ministry of Mechanical Industry have jointly issued directives (document numbers AnShengYong (1997) No. 01 and JiZhong (1997) No. 01) to promote the application of the GCS low-voltage draw-out switchgear.
